INTERVIEW:  (Points 0-30) Each contestant will have a seven (7) minute interview before the panel of judges. The purpose of the Personal Interview is to allow the judges some insight into the character of each contestant. During the interview, the judges are also afforded the opportunity to evaluate each contestant's basic qualities, such as intelligence, ability to communicate, attitude, composure, etc. The judges may also gather information about a contestant's professional or personal life. The basic nature of the interview is intended to be casual and relaxed. The suggested attire for the interview is business casual daywear and may be done as male OR female. This score is the ONLY carry-over score.

 

CREATIVE PRESENTATION: (Points 0-40)  Props are allowed. In this category the contestant is given (3) Three minutes & the opportunity to showcase their own personal style in a creative presentation of their own choosing. Contestants will also supply their own music, visual, or whatever medium they choose for this category. No Fire, Water, Glitter or oil. Contestants are required to include their name, the contest they are representing, if any and where they are from during this time.  Contestants are judged on: Creativity, Stage Presence, Self Confidence, General Appearance (fit, etc), Self-Expression, Music Choice & Delivery.

 

TALENT:  (Points 0-60) The time limit for Talent is a TOTAL OF 7 MINUTES.  The Contestant is allowed 3 ADDITIONAL MINUTES total for the set up AND break down of props. Talent is judged on: Costume, Hair & Make-up, the precision of whatever medium is used (Live Vocal, Dance, Lip Sync, etc.) and overall Entertainment value.                     

 

EVENING GOWN: (Points 0-20) This category is to showcase beauty, glamour and individuality.  The Contestant may wear any Evening Gown of their choosing.  Scores are given for: Presentation, Fit, Hair & Make-up, and Overall Appearance.

 

ON STAGE QUESTION:  (Points 0-10) Each of the “TOP 5” contestants is asked a question and will respond to the question on stage. The other contestants will be sequestered during this time. The questions will come from your “contestant bio” sheet. ONLY the “TOP 5” contestants will compete in this category which will immediately follow the announcement of the “TOP 5”.
